permanent jewellery booking terms

Please read the booking terms below before booking a fitting.
In making a booking and paying the non-refundable booking fee, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these booking terms.
GENERAL
You must be 18 years old or over to have permanent jewellery.
Permanent Jewellery is not suitable if you are fitted with a pacemaker.
We reserve the right to refuse a booking or permanent jewellery fitting for any reason.
Permanent Jewellery may not be suitable if you have allergies to metals / alloys. Should you decide to proceed with having permanent jewellery fitted, you assume the risk of an allergic reaction and will be required to sign a waiver to this effect prior to fitting.
STUDIO BUSNESS HOURS
My Studio is open for appointments on weekdays between 14:00 and 17:00 hours, and on Saturdays between 10:00 and 13:30.
Occasionally, appointments may be available Thursday and Friday mornings, and on Saturday afternoons. Please contact me for more information.
BOOKINGS
Permanent Jewellery fittings at the Studio are by appointment only.
Bookings may be made via our online booking system, or by contacting us by phone or email.
BOOKING FEE
A non-refundable booking fee of £15 per person is required to confirm your appointment.
NO-SHOWS / LATE ARRIVALS
Please note that if you are more than 15 minutes late for your studio appointment, your appointment will automatically be cancelled and you will forfeit your booking fee.
This also applies if you do not show at all for your scheduled appointment.
If you wish to schedule a new appointment, you will be required to pay a new non-refundable booking fee of £15 per person.
STUDIO LOCATION
My studio is located at Thakeham, West Sussex.
Full directions will be sent once your booking is confirmed.
If we receive your appointment booking outside normal business hours, please be aware that directions will be emailed to you on the next working day.
GUESTS AT YOUR FITTING
Please note that space in the studio is limited to a maximum of 3 people at any one time, therefore please do not bring additional people to your appointment in excess of this number.
CHILDREN UNDER 18
Please note that children are not permitted in the Thakeham Studio.
If you are attending a pop-up or private event, children must be under supervision at all times and must be kept away from the displays and the fitting station.
FREE WELDING SERVICE FOR 30 DAYS
If your chain breaks at the original welded point within thirty(30) calendar days of the initial welding service, please contact me to arrange for a complimentary repair.
Please note that the complimentary repair service is only available during this 30-day period. It is your responsibility to contact me to arrange a mutually agreeable date and time for your repair to be undertaken.
If your chain has been broken due to snagging / chain breakage, then a replacement or repair cost may be charged. Please contact me to discuss.
REPAIRS
If you have a piece of jewellery that was fitted elsewhere and which has broken, I may be able to re-weld or repair it for you.

RESCHEDULING / CANCELLATIONS
I require a minimum of 48-hours’ notice for ANY rescheduling of booked Permanent Jewellery appointments.
You may reschedule your appointment ONCE without incurring any additional fees (i.e. the booking fee paid to secure your original appointment will be transferred).
Should you reschedule your appointment a second time, a new non-refundable booking fee will be required to secure your new appointment.
Should you wish to reschedule your appointment again (i.e., for a third time or more), you may be requested to pay for your permanent jewellery in full at the time of booking in order to secure a new appointment.
SPECIAL ORDERS
The styles of chains and charms that I carry in stock are based on those which tend to be the most popular.
I offer a special-order service for other chain or charm styles. Please contact me to discuss your requirements whereupon I will provide you with a quotation and anticipated lead time for delivery.
Special orders will only be confirmed upon your written acceptance of my quote to you, and upon payment in full for your chosen piece of jewellery.
Please note that payment is non-refundable once I have submitted an order to my supplier.
Where possible, your fitting booking will also be confirmed at this time.
Please note that factors outside my control may require me to reschedule your booking, e.g. stock availability or delivery issues with my suppliers. I will keep you informed of progress with your special order and if necessary, will work with you to reschedule your fitting for a mutually agreeable date and time.
GROUP BOOKINGS
I do not have the facilities to accommodate more than 3 people at once at my Thakeham location.
However, if you would like to discuss booking a permanent jewellery fitting at your home for a group of 4 or more friends or family, please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Please note that the size of a group required for a group booking is determined by the number of people wishing to have permanent jewellery, rather than by the number of items to be fitted.
A small travel fee may apply depending on your location.
POP-UP & PRIVATE EVENTS
If you would like to host a Permanent Jewellery Pop Up event, e.g. at your place of work, at a hairdressing or beauty salon, Summer fayre, wedding reception, hen-house / hen-do, etc, please get in touch to discuss your requirements so that I can tailor your booking terms appropriately.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gifts Certificates (both electronic and paper) are valid for the amount and time period stated on the certificate.
Any certificate that has been altered, defaced or damaged (e.g. such that it becomes illegible, or the date and / or value changed) shall be rendered immediately invalid without exception.
Lost or stolen Gift Certificates shall not be replaced or refunded and are not redeemable for cash in full or part.
Clients wishing to pay for their Permanent Jewellery in full or part with a Gift Certificate, must still pay a non-refundable booking fee to confirm their booking and the standard cancellation terms shall apply.
If the total value of the client’s Gift Certificate(s) is equal to the total price of their chosen permanent jewellery, upon completion of their fitting, they should surrender their Gift Certificate(s) as full payment, whereupon their booking fee will be refunded to the original booking fee payment method (provided no cancellation terms have been invoked).
SPECIAL OFFERS
From time to time, I may advertise special offers, either on my website or via my social media accounts. The terms and conditions of any such offers shall apply without exception.
Please note that all special offers are not combinable (i.e. you may not take up two different special offers for the same booking / fitting.
